SEARCH PROGRAMS

This project aims to provide hands-on experience with nanopore sequencing technology and its diverse applications, including sequencing operations, data analysis, and its role in precision medicine.

Additionally, it explores potential applications in aquatic animal nutrition research. Through this internship, participants will gain expertise in the full workflow of nanopore sequencing, from sample preparation to data interpretation.

They will also develop a comprehensive understanding of sampling design and data analysis methodologies for medical samples, which will significantly benefit their work in human biobank management and research.

The project is conducted in collaboration with the Philippine Genome Center Visayas Satellite Facility.

It is open to doctoral students or individuals who already hold a master's degree and have prior experience in high-throughput sequencing technologies.

This program supports one intern for a duration of six months. The internship covers research supply expenses and provides a scholarship of up to NT$20,000 per month.
