Research content: Taking an elevator has become our daily life in the modern world. For safety consideration, the elevator must be investigated and maintained during a certain period of time by regulation. The functions related to the safety are particular the most crucial items. In practice, however, it is very difficult to realize the routine tasks as required due to labor shortage and high cost. To resolve this dilemma, this proposal aims to develop IOT situation room system for real-time elevator operation monitoring and health diagnosis. In the proposed system, the microprocessor is used to measure the carriage loading weight. The other microprocessor is used to measure the carriage vibration signals. All collected signals are transmitted to the cloud server for monitoring and diagnosis. Besides, the vibration region segmentation algorithm will be established to effectively identify the elevator health condition on line. Through the network connection with PLC of elevator controller, an emergency stop can be activated immediately when any abnormal case occurs suddenly. The situation room functions include: 1. Connection with server database and PLC. 2. Facilities selection. 3. Real time signal measurement and display. 4. Abnormal situation warning. 5. Elevator emergency stop. 6. Abnormal situation history tracking.
