Research Project 1: Using AI technology to build a big data database of table tennis players’ technical information This research project aims to use data mining technology to establish a big data database of the world's top table tennis players. Taiwan's table tennis has performed well in international competitions, but traditional game analysis methods are time-consuming and labor-intensive and difficult to dig out deep information. The research will use AIoT and deep learning theory to mine and collect data related to players' receiving, serving and attacking the ball. Expected results: Establish and implement a cloud-based big data database and construct an analysis and recording system.
Research Project 2: Using AI technology to build a dementia care platform This project focuses on using AI technology to build a dementia care platform to address the challenge of rising dementia incidence in the context of an aging global population. Dementia patients often face difficulties in mobility safety, health monitoring, language communication and level assessment, and information exchange between family members and institutions is not smooth, making it difficult for traditional care methods to meet their needs. The plan is to integrate technologies such as speech recognition and emotion analysis to develop a multifunctional AI chatbot system that can realize functions such as emotional companionship, language and cognitive monitoring, health monitoring, screening and evaluation, and information sharing and collaborative care.
The research methods include using large language models, decision trees, SVMs, and association rules to analyze and screen data, and developing machine learning and data mining tools. The expected results include building a data platform, developing an application platform, and serving different users, which will be of great significance to academic research, national development and related application fields.
