The Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center is primarily composed of members from the Department of Biotechnology and Bioindustry Sciences at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). The center is dedicated to advancing agricultural research through biotechnology, focusing on sustainable practices, yield enhancement, and improving resistance to infections. By collaborating with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry partners, the center fosters knowledge exchange and innovation to apply research findings in real-world settings. Our program is designed for undergraduate students from the Faculty of Science at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia, providing an opportunity to study and conduct research in the lab for 3 months. This program provides a unique platform for Malaysian students to explore advanced biotechnology research, collaborate with leading experts, and experience Taiwan’s academic and cultural environment. In addition to receiving training in core experimental techniques, interns can select a research topic to conduct independent research projects, and may have the opportunity to present their work at an academic conference. This program provides TEEP scholarships ranging from NT$12,000 to NT$15,000 monthly for up to 3 months (on-campus accommodation, flight tickets, visa application, and miscellaneous fees should be borne by the students).
