# Internship Description This internship offers an opportunity for interns to contribute to the development of high-performance vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs). The research focuses on three Topics: 
(1) Structural Design of VRFBs
(2) Surface Modification and Characterization of Carbon-Based Electrodes
(3) Electrolyte Preparation for VRFBs Additionally, interns will assist with other research-related tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI).
# Eligibility Criteria 
>> Academic Level: Open to fourth-year undergraduate and master’s students. 
>> Academic Background 
      Topic 1 (Structural Design of VRFBs): Applicants majoring in Mechanical Engineering with experience in mechanical structure design and flow field simulation will be given priority. 
      Topic 2 (Surface Modification and Characterization of Carbon-Based Electrodes): Applicants majoring in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry. 
      Topic 3 (Electrolyte Preparation for VRFBs): Applicants majoring in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. 
>> English Proficiency Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at or above the CEFR B1 level. 
Acceptable test scores include: 
      TOEFL ITP: 457+ 
      TOEFL iBT: 47+
      IELTS: 4.0+
      BULATS: ALTE Level 2+ 
      TOEIC: 550+ (A valid English proficiency test certificate is required.)
# Priority Consideration Preference will be given to students who intend to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree in Taiwan.
