Our lab is dedicated to designing advanced chemical tools and therapeutic agents to explore and modulate complex biological systems. A primary focus is the development of DNA-specific alkylating agents, which have the potential to serve as targeted cancer therapies by selectively modifying DNA within cancer cells. Our research also includes pioneering work in novel nucleoside synthesis and protein-nucleic acid conjugates. This work involves multi-step synthesis and detailed characterization, aiming to create innovations with far-reaching impacts in diagnostics, targeted therapies, and intelligent materials for medical applications.
Benefits:
• A stipend of 15,000 NTD per month (approximately 500 USD) will be provided, intended to cover airfare, basic living expenses, and basic medical insurance.
• Eligible students may apply for NTU dormitory accommodations.
• Gain hands-on experience with advanced analytical instruments and synthetic techniques.
• Enjoy free access to our state-of-the-art research facilities and opportunities to attend conferences and special lectures during the internship.
This program aims to enhance international visibility and foster research collaborations with institutions across Asia and Europe. Current graduate students (Master’s and PhD) specializing in Organic Chemistry are encouraged to apply.
