The Taiwan Exchange Experience Programme invites one international exchange student to participate in an exciting research project: "AI-Driven Biorefinery and Fermentation Optimization Technology: A Solution for Enhancing Bioprocess Efficiency and Sustainability." This program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in bioprocess engineering, AI applications in biotechnology, and fermentation optimization techniques. Participants will work in a cutting-edge research environment alongside leading experts in the field.
Programme Duration: 6 months (Minimum participation: 2 months) Flexible start dates based on the selected candidate’s availability.
Eligibility Requirements: Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field. Strong interest in bioprocess optimization, AI applications in biorefinery, and sustainable biotechnology. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication).
Scholarship & Benefits: Monthly stipend of NTD 15,000 (approximately USD 500). Access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and expert mentorship. Opportunities to contribute to high-impact research projects and potential academic publications.
Accommodation & Living Arrangements: Assistance in finding affordable accommodation near the research institute/university. Support with visa application procedures for accepted participants.
