This program intends to recruit students who are interested in comparative genomes, transcriptomic analysis, developing molecular markers, or Drosophila behavior. The students need to stay at least 2 months, and preferentially 3 months. The starting time is flexible, ranging from early July to late December of 2025. The students are also encouraged to take courses (or sit in) if their schedule overlaps with the fall semester of 2025, which starts on September 1 and ends on December 20. The students can apply for the NCU dormitory, but the room availability is not guaranteed. Students in the third or fourth year of the undergraduate program, newly graduated with a BS degree, or in the master's program looking for a Ph.D. program are welcome. The English proficiency of a qualified participant is expected at CEFR level B2 or higher.
